The Valencian word “Fogó” means fireplace, which is the appropriate place to make a fire and cook. Us to know, it is a word that is used in Sueca and Cullera to say fagot in Valencian slang language. According to Josep Franco, a Fogó was a boy who stayed home while the rest of the children playing in the street. A boy who was under cover of his mother and under cover of the heat of the kitchen and the table stretcher. From the word “Fogó” derive other as “Fogonet” (ladybug, sissy), “Fogona” (pansy, queen) and “Fogoná” (fag thing).
